SOFTWARE ENGINEER // GENERALIST
As a Software Engineer at SEV, you'll operate across the full spectrum of our technical infrastructure - constantly shifting between scaling existing systems and architecting new ones from the ground up.
One day you might be optimizing AI retrieval systems, the next you could be designing the backend for an entirely new product, and sometimes you'll be solving critical scaling challenges as our user base grows exponentially. Your scope spans full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and applied AI systems. This role requires exceptional versatility and a focus on building resilient systems that scale.
You will
- Contribute to our expanding AI engineering platform that powers multiple ventures
- Design, implement and deploy scalable full-stack experiences reaching millions
- Build internal services and tooling to accelerate development velocity
- Optimize cloud infrastructure to minimize costs while maximizing reliability
- Develop state-of-the-art systems for deploying and scaling LLM-powered experiences
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues across our product ecosystem
- Architect systems that can grow rapidly without compromising performance
We want
- Exceptional engineers with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Strong experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Proficiency with full-stack frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, NextJS, React/Native)
- Experience designing data models and scaling database solutions
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering (RAG, evals, monitoring)
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Track record of building systems that scale reliably
